This is a basic tutorial designed for new users of AudioMulch. It demonstrates how to create contraption presets and how to control a patch using the automation timeline.
Drag a Bassline contraption from the contraptions list onto the Patcher Pane and double click it to open its property editor window.
Connect the output of the Bassline contraption to the inputs of the SoundOut contraption.
Double click the Bassline to open its property editor window and turn its volume up.
Press Play on the Transport toolbar.
Edit the sequence on the Bassline's pattern editor.
Press the Preset button at the top right of the Bassline's property editor window to open the presets list and click the Store button for preset slot 1.
Edit the sequence on the Bassline's pattern editor again.
In the Bassline's presets list, click the Store button for preset slot 2.
Automate the Bassline's Preset parameter:
Right-click on the Preset button and select Automate from the pop-up menu.
Click on the Bassline Preset value line down in the Automation Pane at the beginning of bar 1 and select preset 1.
At bar 4, click on the value line and select preset 2.
Set the automation to loop by pressing the Enable Automation Loop button on the Transport toolbar.
Grab the right end of the loop point marker (located on the upper edge of the automation ruler) and move it to the end of bar 4.
Press Play From Start on the Transport toolbar.
Filter a sound with the Bassline:
Drag a FilePlayer from the contraptions list onto the Patcher Pane.
Double click the FilePlayer to open its property editor, select a file and set it to loop and play.
Connect an output of the FilePlayer to the input of the Bassline.
