Hi,
Has anyone thoughts on/experience of using Bidule as a replacement for Audiomulch - I'm probably going to need to replace my laptop soonish and it looks like Audiomulch might not see an update (especially to 64 bit/ARM mac). I'm trying out a trial version right now, but any comments would be welcome.
Cheers
Mike B
i've owned bidule for a longtime but haven't done much w/it. there was something about the panning and stereo/mono channels that confused me. i remember thinking "is this track stereo? is this input mono? wtf is going on w/default audio routing w/these mixers?" and there was a general lack of clarity on my part and i got distracted by something else and never went back to resolve my issues. it's very capable though. i know someone who made drum synths and all kinds of stuff in it but was only using it for prototyping things that would get ported to hardware... and he's since moved on.
depending on what you want to do max/msp is really a good way to go. learning curve but not that bad and there's so many resources for learning it now.
