The error message indicates that whatever sample rate is selected in AudioMulch > Edit > Settings > Audio General
is not supported by your hardware. You havn't indicated what driver you are trying to use (Windows Multimedia, Direct Sound, ASIO etc), that would help.
If you are using an ASIO driver, try the 44.1k and 48k sample rate settings, other's may not work, depending on what sample rates your hardware supports.

I believe the problem was I did not re-start my device after I changed the sample rate.
