Hi, all.
I've just downloaded AudioMulch, but I cannot see any of my audio I/O drivers. Hence, no audio in or out. The Settings window shows None for all entries.
Windows XP, M-Audio Quattro ASIO interface.
My other 'ware (Abletone, Ploque) see the drivers just fine.
Anybody know what's up?
Gary and I resolved this via email by selecting and enabling ASIO in AudioMulch. But it seems that no WMME devices are listed. If anyone else sees this please let me know as I'd like to try determine if its a bug in AM or just a system configuration problem on Gary's machine.
Thanks
Ross.
I'm having the exact same problem. Only Audiomulch did work for a few minutes before this happened. I was trying to mess with my guitar through my M-Audio Ozone controller, and though the program did pick up the signal, nothing came out. Then it started picking up the signal with lots and lots of delay, so I wen't to see the driver configuration. I noticed I had not selected ASIO drivers and then chose to do so, but the program sent me a warning message that Audiomulch still didn't support ASIO drivers. I went with the change anyway. So now it's pretty much what's happening to Gary. When I have to select the audio device in the audio in and out, my ozone never appears, though it's working fine with other apps. I did install and uninstall both Audiomulch and the M-Audio driver but to no avail.
Hi Victor
It doesn't sound like the same problem since Gary had no trouble with using ASIO drivers once he enabled them.
So I'm still a bit unclear about what exactly the problem you're having is.
Can you see your Ozone listed in the driver list in Settings/Preferences > Audio Driver?
Make sure it's plugged in and switched on before you launch AudioMulch.
If you're using ASIO you need to make sure to select the correct driver in the Audio Driver tab before it will show up in the Audio Input and Audio Output tabs of the Settings/Preferences dialog box (same goes for DirectSound drivers actually).
Let me know some more details and I'll try to help you further. If you see any specific error messages from AudioMulch please write down exactly what the text is -- otherwise it's difficult for me to guess what you're seeing.
Thanks
Ross.
