It would be AWESOME to be able to assign MIDI notes to different drum contraption channels... that way we could program drums by playing them live with a MIDI controller.
plus it could double as a very simple one-shot sample trigger :-)

I totally agree - the ability to either pre-program a sequence or play-in a sequence using a MIDI drum pad would be great. It could turn the Drum Contraption into a Groovebox/Sampler - auto quantizing would be great and a clear pattern button would be good.
