It's funny, I recently met with Roger Linn and he was explaining that he got the original idea for the swing control on his drum machines after talking about drummer's timing with a musician named Leon Russell. I'm not sure whether Roland's machines had swing at that stage.
Anyway, yes, swing, it would be good. I've never been sure how that should work in non 4/4 time signatures though.
