This may be too rare to be really needed but I found an interesting quirk when dealing with a multiple input spectral analysis plugin (Schwas Schope) Its a bit confusing to me
It overlays spectrum's of each input in different colors but this plugin only starts working when connected to the sound out BUT for some reason its also only outputting input 1 and 2 and they each are going into L and R channels. Kind of confusing.
Maybe there is a workaround to making this plugin behave as if its connected to sound out without any sound coming out?
If not perhaps some sort of fake sound out device would be handy for awkward situations like this.
Put a muted sgain between soundout an plugin output.
